Ymhlith pibellau anfetelaidd, pibellau plastig a ddefnyddir amlaf. Mae yna lawer o fathau o bibellau plastig, sy'n cael eu rhannu'n ddau gategori: pibellau plastig thermoplastig a phibellau plastig thermosetting.
